Donorschoose

I'm teaching my 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students about biographies. I need help finding great online resources that provide biographical information about various influential people that students can use for a research project. The material could include (but not be limited to) websites, videos or video clips, supplemental information, etc. It must be appropriate for young students that are in the early stages of reading. Any individual that has some sort of positive influence on the United States or the world would be fine. Some individuals that students have chosen in the past include Nelson Mandela, Ruby Bridges, Helen Keller, Martin Luther King, Jr., Cesar Chavez, Amelia Earhart, and a variety of others including presidents, inventors, leaders, etc. Can you help?
