Cmv Negative
We needed CMV neg as well. Some other things we looked at: medical history, of course was also very important. We preferred someone in a creative field of some sort since I am an art teacher and my partner a writer. It was important to my partner that he not be too tall because she's short as is her family, so we narrowed it down to under 6'1". We also preferred an ID Options donor, although we didn't want to see a picture beforehand. Looks aren't that important to us... (plus my partner who would be carrying is cute enough for the both of them, IMO). We figured if it were a situation of meeting someone in rl, personality would be more important then looks, so it shouldn't really matter in this instance either. We didn't want to second guess an otherwise perfect choice on something so shallow as what he looked like. Now that she is 27 weeks pregnant we are going to go ahead and order the pictures of our donor... more out of curiosity, and to have in case the child ever wants to know what his/her bio father looks like.
