Nitto Tires was started originally under the name Toyo Tire and Rubber Company in 1945 based in Japan. The company expanded to the United States under the name Toyo Tire Corporation in 1966. In 1999, Nitto Tires North America Inc was established. Today it is one of the largest tire companies in the world.Vision "15" is the brain child of the CEO. It gets prominence in the vision statement of the company. This vision statement will be followed till 2015, which is the company's 70th anniversary. The corporate philosophy and the mission statement mentions Nitto Tires as a value creating company. Protect, stabilize, improve, deliver and win are the actions that drive their value.With the brand statement 'Driven to Perform' the company has unified the brand logo for its different subsidiaries. Today, the company is operational in more than 100 countries and going strong. The company is now focused on building high executive standards through transparency in high level of management.
