Richard Tuschman concentrates his practice in labor and employment law and complex litigation. He regularly represents employers in Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) cases, as well as in cases alleging employment discrimination under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and the Florida Civil Rights Act. Richard also handles cases involving whistleblowing, restrictive covenants, breach of contract and trade secrets, and regularly appears before federal and state agencies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the U.S. Department of Labor, and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). Richard handles a wide range of litigation in federal and state courts, including consumer class actions, business disputes, and litigation under the Title III of the ADA.Richard is Board Certified in Labor and Employment Law by The Florida Bar and has been recognized by The Best Lawyers in America and Super Lawyers Magazine. He is a frequent lecturer on employment law issues and is a regular contributor to Thompson Publishing's Employer's Guide to the Fair Labor Standards Act.
